Dear Pueri Cantores friends,
Our Pope Francis ended his earthly life the day after Easter. What a beautiful symbol! We are sad, but we thank God for having spared him a long and painful end of life.
I have fond memories of our congress in Rome in December 2023. He gave us three words: joy, prayer and humility. And his warm thanks for our action: ‘What you do is very important, because you help communities to pray, to open their hearts to the Lord; and that’s fundamental for the life of the Church. Thank you very much’.
The Holy Father has left ‘on mission’. On Easter Sunday, from the balcony of St Peter’s Basilica, he delivered to us a message of peace.
I invite you to pray for him and not to forget his work, particularly with the poorest.
