Idea: Every singer may celebrate at home a 'private ceremony' to show his sympathy with all the people suffering from the Corona virus and to pray for peace in remembrance of the terrorist attack in churches of Sri Lanka on Easter 2019

YOU, our Father, we are Your children and feel connected to each other in singing and praying like one big family. In this difficult time we commend to You the victims of wars and terrorist attacks like the one in Sri Lanka last year. We also commend to You all the people who are suffering or have died as a result of the pandemic all over the world. Merciful God, grant us peace and health. We pray together:

Nous Te recommandons également toutes les personnes qui souffrent ou qui sont mortes à cause de la pandémie dans le monde entier. Dieu miséricordieux, accorde-nous la paix et la santé. Congress in Florence 2020 postponed
Our international congress, planned for this summer in Florence, has been postponed to summer 2021 for the reason of security of the participants. All the registered choirs have been informed.
The following congress in Rome after Christmas 2021 is maintained. Save the date!

Le congrès international prévu pour l'été 2020 a été reporté à l'été 2021, pourpouvoir assurer la sécurité sanitaire des participants. Les choeurs inscrits ont été informés.

Le congrès des PC Portugais à Fatima
Du vendredi, 31 janvier au dimanche, 2 février les trois choeurs de la fédération Portugaise se sont réunis en pélérinage à Fatima poiur célébrer leur premier congrès national. La fédération existe depuis 2014 et a été affiliée à la FIPC en 2015.
Le choix du sanctuaire de Fatima a permis d’en faire un vrai pèlerinage en incluant toutes les composantes du pèlerinage: messe, temps de prière, temps de réflexion spirituelle, procession aux flambeaux. Notre président Jean Henric a représenté la fédération internationale et s'est adressé plusieurs fois aux chanteurs et au public.
Voici le programme:
Vendredi soir: Cérémonie d'ouverture
Samedi matin:cérémonie des laudes à la basilique, suivie de la prière aux saints bergers.
Samedi après-midi: concert d’espérance donné par chacun des trois chœurs.
Samedi soir: procession aux flambeaux et chants par les chœurs à La Chapelle des apparitions et sur l’esplanade.
Dimanche matin: temps spirituel pour les jeunes, catéchèse autour du mystère de Fatima, organisée en deux groupes (les petits et les grands).
Dimanche après-midi et soir: Concert et messe de clôture

The Portuguese Pueri Cantores Congress in Fatima
From Friday, 31 January to Sunday, 2 February the three choirs of the Portuguese Federation met in pilgrimage to Fatima to celebrate their first national congress. The federation exists since 2014 and was affiliated to the FIPC in 2015.
The choice of the Fatima Shrine made it possible to make it a real pilgrimage by including all the components of the pilgrimage: mass, prayer time, time for spiritual reflection, torchlight procession. Our president Jean Henric represented the International federation and spoke several times to the choirs and the audience.

Friday evening: Opening ceremony.
Saturday morning: Lauds ceremony at the basilica, followed by prayer to the holy shepherds.
Saturday afternoon: concert of hope given by each of the three choirs.
Saturday evening: torchlight procession and singing by the choirs in the Chapel of Apparitions and on the esplanade.
Sunday morning: spiritual time for the young people, catechesis around the mystery of Fatima, organized in two groups (children and young people).
Sunday afternoon and evening: Concert and closing Mass.

Nous vivons une période d'incertitude et de peur.
Nous avons le sentiment que tout nous échappe.
Pendant ces semaines, nos camarades de chœur nous manquent
de même que chanter ensemble.
